We process data of website visitors, sign-up applicants, customers and platform users in order to provide the service, manage billing and maintain security. The main legal basis is performance of the contract and legitimate interest.
When a company hires our services and registers its employees, that company is the controller of its staff's data and we act as processor on its behalf: their profile, inventory and incidents are processed following its instructions. There is one exception, and it is worth stating clearly: for the access account itself — your email, credentials and authentication factors — we are the controller, because that account is yours and exists independently of the company you belong to. So, if you want to exercise your rights over your profile or incidents, your company is the contact; if you want to exercise them over your access account, write to us directly. If you are not sure which of the two it is, write to us anyway and we will tell you.
Your data is stored in the European Union and the application runs in a European region. To provide the service we work with a closed group of technology providers: identity and authentication, email, payment gateway, database, hosting, incident management and automated assistance. The full list, with each company's name, what we use it for, where it is and which safeguard covers its processing, is published and kept up to date at redyredes.com/legal/subencargados.
Some of those providers are established outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Those transfers rely, depending on the provider, on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and in some cases on both. We state it provider by provider on the linked page, not generically, because not all of them rely on the same mechanism.
